Where were you ten years ago? If I knew then what I learned this afternoon, I'd still be playing in the NHL."

The Development Of Mental Skills In Canadian Athletes:
A Survey
Subjects and Method
The subjects of the survey were key informants in each of the provincial and territorial athletic associations that participate in Canada's Summer and Winter Games. Basically, these were the technical directors, program coordinators, development coordinators or some other person within the organization that was deemed knowledgeable about the development of their athletes. Names were provided by the Canada Games’ Chefs de Mission or, as was the case in many instances, obtained directly from association web sites.
The survey was initiated in mid-June of this year. It was done completely online and conducted in both official languages. Individuals were contacted by e-mail and requested to participate in the survey by going to a website of the London office of the CANOE network and completing a brief questionnaire in either English or French.
